The Friday Harbor volleyball team will open the 2010 season by participating in a multi-team jamboree Saturday at Mount Vernon Christian.

After Saturday's jamboree, a pre-season showcase, the Wolverines will then be playing for keeps as they begin a 15-game regular-season schedule Sept. 8 on the road at Coupeville.

Friday Harbor, coming off a 2-15 season a year ago, will host Evergreen Lutheran Saturday, Sept. 9, in its home opener at Turnbull Gym.
