Congratulations are in order for all fireworks lovers in San Juan County. Once again a Fourth of July celebration has proved that we can enjoy our traditional fireworks on the Fourth of July without serious personal injury or property damage, as the total lack of reported problems has once again proven to be true.

So, we must again vote in November to REJECT the proposed anti-fireworks ordinance proposed by our County Council as just another idea by Big Brother to protect us from a non-existing danger.

Thanks are in order from all fireworks lovers for everyone having had another “Safe and Sane” celebration.
