There’s only one San Juan Islands Audubon Society

“Cowboy” Bob Myhr recently sent out a press release regarding an Audubon field trip on Lopez. He called it a trip sponsored by the Lopez subchapter of the San Juan Islands Audubon Society. We do not have subchapters as all the San Juan Islands are part of San Juan Islands Audubon Society.

Bob is very gracious in volunteering to lead a field trip but we are working with him on working within the organization. We have many creative folks who do things for our chapter and appreciate every way in which they volunteer. We just have to remind people now and again that we are only one part of the whole and we hope more people will join our chapter.

In the future and for current listings, please note that all field trips are sponsored by San Juan Islands Audubon and not Lopez Audubon (as there is no such thing at Lopez Audubon).
