The Master Gardener Program would like to thank the community for their great support of the Native Plant Sale on Feb. 27. This is a major event for the San Juan County Master Gardeners and your support and enthusiasm for native plants is wonderful.

We all know how important native plants are to our natural environment and we hope that you’ll enjoy your new plants year after year. Be sure to get them in the ground and water them.

As a “thank you” for your continued support of our program, the Master Gardeners and the San Juan Island Library will sponsor four free workshops in March and April. We start with Ciscoe Morris on March 24 at the library. And don’t forget the Spring Gardening Workshop on April 17.

Check the programs out at the library or at http://sanjuan.wsu.edu/mastergardeners.
