On behalf of The Islands Chapter of the American Red Cross, I wish to gratefully acknowledge the assistance of the following businesses who helped make it possible for the citizens of Friday Harbor to donate to the cause of raising relief funds for the citizens of Haiti by placing donation cans on their counters.

They are: The Big Store, The Little Store, Browne’s Lumber, Friday Harbor Drug, Vinny’s, Downriggers, Jimmy’s Paradise Café, Rocky Bay Café, Market Place, and Radio Shack.

Also numerous establishments allowed us to display posters in their windows and on their bulletin boards. Private donations were mailed to our P.O. Box 1992.

Together, $1,230 were raised for this most worthy cause.

Thank you, good people of Friday Harbor! You have always been generous to and concerned for those in need.
