Supports Lacher for mayor: 'I like her ability to listen and her common-sense approach to issues'

As a long-time resident and business owner, I urge the residents of Friday Harbor to vote for Carrie Lacher for mayor.

I recently had a one-on-one sit-down meeting with her and I came away from it with the belief that she has the qualities necessary to make a great mayor. I immediately liked her ability to listen and her common-sense approach to issues.

She has been a small-business owner in town and she understands both the opportunities and the challenges this presents. I believe that she can strengthen the town's ties with the business community, which will greatly benefit both parties.

We need a mayor who is actively in the work force and can identify with the financial burdens of town residents.

I truly believe that we can have a better, brighter and more cooperative future for Friday Harbor.

Please join me and vote for Carrie!
