Act of simple kindness made her life infinitely better

I just wanted to share a special moment of thanks with you. I have patiently struggled with my own immobility and the almost-accessibility of traveling in town. Blair Street was an adventure! The sidewalks were not usable; you could get up but not down.

After months, I figured it out and felt fine zigging and zagging around cars. What I didn't realize was how many were watching.

This morning, I found Dave Smith and his crew had volunteered to put leftover black top to create an off-ramp for me and fill the water hole going to the new sidewalk. If it was not for me alone, I thank them for the Banry boys and others traveling via scooter.

My life is infinitely greater because of Dave's simple kindness. Thank you for recognizing the struggle and helping make a huge improvement!

One grateful senior,
