Patricia Kostek, clarinetist extraordinaire and artistic director of Chamber Music San Juans, consistently brings outstanding musical performances to our San Juan Community Theatre.

The last concert, on June 21, was received with a resounding standing ovation from the audience. I’m certain that the next concert, this coming Saturday, will be just as astonishingly beautiful.

Frances Renzi, an “absolutely superb” pianist, is coming all the way from Cleveland; and Rowena Hammill, a distinguished cellist, is arriving from Los Angeles to join Patricia and our favorite violin and viola players, Ron and Roxanna Patterson. The program will include Fauré’s “Quartet for Piano and Strings,” Dohnányi’s “Trio for Strings,” and works by Franck and Beethoven.

If you are new to experiencing the beauty of chamber music or a long-time lover of these performances, I hope you will join us at our Community Theatre on Saturday at 7:30. I’m sure you will be amazed and delighted!
