Proud of FHHS senior projects | Lettere

We just returned from serving as community panel members for the senior exhibitions at Friday Harbor High School. What a positive and rewarding experience it was to watch seniors discussing their high school experiences, successes, challenges, community projects and future plans. The project covers four years of high school progress through the advisement class and culminates with the exhibition just prior to graduation. Islanders can be proud of the efforts of teachers and staff at Friday Harbor High because to watch these students is to see the tremendous impact the school has had on each of them.

Real telling was when four seniors were asked: “ If you could change one thing about FHHS, what would it be?”

There was stunned silence and the students could not come up with an improvement, which is a huge testimony to the quality of the overall experience the students encountered. Well done Friday Harbor High! It was a privilege to participate.
