Island blessed by amount of local support | Letters

The San Juan Island EMT Association would like to take this opportunity to thank United Way of San Juan County, San Juan Community Foundation Women’s Fund and various local family foundations for their financial assistance in putting on the Every 15 Minutes Program this year.
This program has been shown to open communications in families and our community. Though such things require many hands and much money, it is entirely paid for through in-kind donations, grants, financial donations and volunteer time.
United Way of San Juan County and San Juan Community Island Foundation understand our county and keep their focus local. We are blessed to have these local organizations in our small community.
Over many years, both these charitable entities (United Way of San Juan County and San Juan Island Community Foundation) have helped our EMTs take better care of our community through better equipment and community education. Please think local when you are making your charitable donations. Thank you.
