February 21, 2012 · Updated 12:50 PM
Sandra Kay “Sandy” Sloan Wilson was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and grew up in Boise, Idaho.
She later moved to California and became a stuntwoman for many stars in Hollywood. She doubled for Joan Collins in Dynasty and appeared in Chips, Matlock, The Hulk and many others.
Her life was full.
She loved her family, loved her cats, and was an excellent cook. In October, 1986, Sandy married Ed Wilson in Mesa, Ariz. They later built a home in Friday Harbor, Wash., where they lived the last 12 years.
Sandy's life ended here on earth way too soon due to pancratic cancer. We love her and will miss her deeply.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Ed Wilson of Friday Harbor, Wash., her son, David Brock of Boise, her brother, Jerry Sloan of Rosemond, Calif.; three graddaughters; her other siblings, Dee and Mike Rishell of Boise; Jim and LeeAnn McBath, and Jerry and Kris McBath; Uncle JC Sloan of Weiser, Idaho, and her beloved step-mom of 51 years, Billie Sloan.
