Supports Jeff Asher for San Juan County sheriff

We would like to express our support for Jeff Asher for sheriff of San Juan County. Several years ago, when our house was in the vacation rental pool, we were victims of credit card, debit card, and driver's license theft. The perpetrator managed to rack up $10,000 in charges in less than a week. As we were out of the country, we were unaware of what was happening.

On our return shortly after the theft, we reported the crime and Detective Asher was assigned the case. He was vigilant in his investigation, identified a suspect, secured a witness and obtained the evidence (a laptop computer with the ”jobs” logged) within a week. Jeff Asher kept us informed of the progress of his investigation and was professional and hard working at all times.

We are confident that Jeff Asher will continue his hard work to the benefit of all the citizens of our county and will be an exemplary sheriff.
