In addition, we will vote for U.S. senator; there are 15 candidates, among them three-term incumbent Patty Murray, former state senator and almost governor Dino Rossi, and NFL tight end-turned-farmer Clint Didier.

We have five candidates for San Juan County sheriff, and we will select our first new sheriff in 24 years.
