Raymond Arthur Strickland, 89, longtime Friday Harbor resident, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Life Care Center of Skagit Valley in Sedro Woolley. Mr. Strickland was born October 12, 1928, in Newport West, England. He married Sheila Gee in 1953, for 64 years of marriage. Mr. Strickland was employed as a marine mechanic. In keeping with his wishes, no service will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Whidbey Memorial Funeral Home, Oak Harbor.
