Julien Lapalme | 1984 – 2018

In our deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Julien Lapalme, 34 years old, on Dec. 29, 2018. Julien passed away unexpectedly in his sleep, due to a hereditary heart condition.

Julien was passionate about life and was living out his dreams. Julien settled into life in British Columbia, Canada, where he loved working in his big garden growing food, and sailing around the islands. Julien was an entrepreneur at heart and was a hard and steadfast worker. Julien was very busy running and working his own successful construction businesses at the time of his passing.

Julien was the only child born to Carolle Lapalme of Friday Harbor, Washington.

Julien was born in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, and grew up in Friday Harbor, Washington, where he attended and graduated from Friday Harbor High School. He was living in British Columbia, Canada, at the time of his passing.

Julien is survived by and was a loving son and best friend to his mother Carolle Lapalme; and his stepfather, Steve Holcomb; his loving daughter and only child, Kayla Lapalme. Annel (significant other); brother Ryan and sister Sarah; nephew William and niece Addyson; grandmother Jeannine (Andre); aunts Jacqueline, Lorraine (CoCo), Diane, Sylvie, Marie Eve and family; father Ron Aspinell and family; as well as many loving cousins and caring friends.

Our beloved Julien has finally made his journey home.

A private celebration of life will be held for Julien at a later date.
