Henry Kevin Bell, age 66, of Friday Harbor, Washington, passed away on January 3, 2019. He was born to Robert and Hallie (Carmichael) Ruggles on December 1, 1952 in Las Vegas, Nevada and was one of 8 children and had extensive family in this area. In 1957, Henry was adopted by Arvell and Nedra Bell of Lake Chelan, WA and has one brother, Tim Bell, and many other loved relatives. Over the years Henry became reunited with his birth family and was able to go to a family reunion where he met many brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Henry became a general contractor in the early 1980s and continued his trade the rest of his life. He settled in Friday Harbor, WA where he passed away in his home. Henry is survived by his sons Kevin (Anna) Bell of Bothell, WA, Jeffrey Bell of Anacortes, WA, Jason Bell of Marysville, WA, and his stepson, Doug Carriger; grandchildren Sophia and Claire; brother Tim Bell of Lake Chelan. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. A graveside service will be held at St. Francis Cemetery in Friday Harbor. A graveside service will be held Feb. 16, 11 a.m. at the St. Francis Cemetery,311 Madden Lane, San Juan Island. There will be a pot luck gathering at the American Legion at 1 p.m. Arrangements are in the care of Evans Funeral Chapel and Crematory Inc., Anacortes and the San Juan Islands.
