C. David “Dave” Morrill:

June 24, 1942 — Dec. 9, 2011

Dave Morrill, born to Calvin Claire Morrill and Betty Mae Tate-Balnchard, was raised in Friday Harbor, where he later worked in construction.

Dave is survived by his beloved daughters, Kim and Amanda, his siblings, Sharon, Daniel, Gerald, Teena and Rita; several grandchildren, even more nieces and nephews, his cats, Gidget and Juniper, and many dear friends.

Dave is preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Carly and Joyce.

Dave religiously studied Jehovah’s Witness. He had a heat of gold and often helped those in need.

Dave loved good food and cooking, hard work, gardening, old western movies, family and friends. Friends are welcome to bring a dish and join in the celebration and memory of his life with Dave’s family, at the Grange Hall in Friday Harbor, Saturday, Jan. 28, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
