At approximately 9 p.m. Saturday, May 13, there was a single-car, rollover accident on Roche Harbor Road, according to Undersheriff Brent Johnson.

“It was actually a little before 9 p.m.,” Johnson clarified, “We arrived at about 9 p.m.”

The vehicle was heading Westbound, when it came around a corner by Hillview Lane. The car then veered to the right before going back over the center lane and over the embankment.

The car came to rest on the drivers side, Johnson said. The driver, who seems to have been alone in the vehicle, was able to exit the car, but was treated for back injuries by emergency responders.

The driver was then taken to the hospital. It will take three weeks for toxicology reports to return, which will help to determine whether or not alcohol played a role in the accident.
