She was preceded in death by her husband George P. Metcalf, in 1999. She is survived by a loving son, Larry Eugene Metcalf of Friday Harbor.

Katalee Foshee Metcalf, 84, of Fletcher, N.C. died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, after an illness.

She was preceded in death by her husband George P. Metcalf, in 1999.  She is survived by a loving son, Larry Eugene Metcalf.

Family and friends attended a service at Jackson Funeral Services Dec. 31. Burial was at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Condolence cards and flowers may be personally sent to her son.
