Candidates for San Juan County Council and state House of Representatives participated in the Friday Harbor Fourth of July Parade.

Rich Peterson, candidate for reelection to the San Juan County Council from North San Juan, walked the parade route with his family. Laura Jo Severson, candidate for San Juan County Council from North San Juan, waved from a convertible. Donna Miller, candidate for state House of Representatives, 40th District, position 1, waved from a convertible driven by her son, Dan Miller Jr., a former legislative and county commission candidate.
