As Congress debates the details of President Obama’s plan for reforming health care coverage, state Sen. Kevin Ranker will host a town hall forum to hear from 40th District constituents and help inform residents about any potential changes in Washington.

The forum is Nov. 23, 7-9 p.m., in the Whatcom County Council Chambers, 311 Grand Ave., Suite 105, Bellingham.

Ranker will be joined by Sen. Karen Keiser, D-Kent, chairwoman of the Senate Health and Long-term Care Committee; and Rep. Eileen Cody, D-Seattle, chairwoman of the House Health Care and Wellness Committee.

They will discuss the state-level changes for health care and the impact and opportunities presented by any changes at the federal level.
