September 29, 2010 · 11:36 AM
State Sen. Kevin Ranker and Rep. Jeff Morris of the 40th District have endorsed fellow Democrat Kristine Lytton for the House seat being vacated by Rep. Dave Quall.
Lytton is president of the Anacortes School Board. She was the top vote-getter in the Aug. 17 primary; also on the Nov. 2 general election ballot is Mike Newman, a Mount Vernon real estate agent active in the Republican Party.
“Kristine is a very talented and hard-working individual,” Ranker said in a press release. “She has the ability to bring people of different backgrounds together so decisions can be made which will benefit the entire community. I look forward to working closely with Kristine to help the citizens of the 40th District.”
“I’m extremely honored to have earned the support of Sen. Ranker and Rep. Morris,” Lytton said. “I’m really looking forward to working with these two outstanding legislators and doing great work for the people of the 40th District.”
“And if you’d like to help out, please get in touch with my campaign manager, Katie Drewel, at 425-358-1213.”
