Reagan's U.S. treasurer campaigns with Koster in region | U.S. House, District 2

Former U.S. Treasurer Angela "Bay" Buchanan, co-chairwoman of Team America PAC, will join Congressional candidate John Koster in campaign appearances in the region Aug. 26:

Buchanan served as Treasurer of the United States (not to be confused with Secretary of the Treasury) under President Ronald Reagan, from 1981-83.

Koster, a Republican and member of the Snohomish County Council, received 72,445 votes in the Aug. 17 primary election. He and Rep. Rick Larsen, a Democrat seeking a fifth term, advanced to the Nov. 2 general election. Larsen received 72,598. A total of 27,191 votes were cast for three other candidates.
