County Council, 40th District House members get together Friday for meeting, school lunch

The San Juan County Council is taking two state legislators to lunch Friday.

School lunch.

Reps. Jeff Morris and Dave Quall will get together with the County Council for a special meeting Friday, 10 a.m. in the Legislative Hearing Room, 55 Second St., Friday Harbor. The meeting is open to the public and will begin with citizens' access time.

At noon, the council and legislators will go to Friday Harbor Elementary School for the Experience Food Project's wood-fired pizza fair.

At 1:30 p.m., the County Council will return to the Legislative Hearing Room for labor contract negotiations. That portion of the meeting is a closed session.

Open public meeting will resume at 2 p.m. for a discussion of the Woodman bulkhead appeal. At 2:20 p.m., the council will have a workshop on the county budget.
