Tonight's Town Council meeting canceled; evening agenda items moved to noon meeting

The Friday Harbor Town Council's 5:30 p.m. meeting today has been canceled because of inclement weather.

The council will meet at noon in the Town Hall Council Chambers; the evening's agenda items have been moved to the noon meeting.

A full agenda it will be: This is the council's last meeting of the year. On the agenda:

— Presentation by San Juan County Health & Community Services regarding developing an Affordable Housing Action Plan.

— Resolution No. 1684: Authorizing the Mayor to execute Change Order No. 5 on the contract with JS&S Excavation, Inc. for construction of the Guard Street Improvement Project, Phase 4.

— Resolution No. 1686: Authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract with Wilder Construction Company for construction of the Tucker Avenue Storm Drainage Project

— Public Hearing: Amendments to the adopted 2008 Town Budget.

— Ordinance No. 1382: Amending the adopted 2008 Town Budget.

— Resolution No. 1687: Authorizing the Mayor to execute a labor contract for the years 2009 through 2011.

— Ordinance No. 1383: Adopting the 2009 Town Budget.

— Ordinance No. 1384: Fixing 2009 compensation for represented personnel.

— Ordinance No. 1385: Fixing 2009 salaries for officials and non-represented personnel.
