Sheriff's Office on alert; tip about missing Oregon woman proves futile

The San Juan County Sheriff's Office, working with the local community and the Washington State Ferries, has received no information confirming the presence of Jennifer Huston in the San Juan Islands.

At this time, based on the information received from the Newberg-Dundee Police Department regarding Huston's love for the islands, the San Juan County Sheriff's Office, the Washington State ferry system and the San Juan community remain alert looking for Huston until she is located.
