If you want to vote in the Aug. 19 primary election, here’s a wake-up call for you:

You have until Friday to register in person at the Elections Office on Second and Reed streets. If you mail your registration in, it’s got to be postmarked no later than Saturday.

On Friday, the League of Women Voters of the San Juans will staff a registration booth in front of Friday Harbor Drug.

“If you are not registered, stop by and a volunteer will assist you to complete registration materials,” League President Nancy Wight said.

For more election information, see Opinion on page 6A, and Election news on 10-14A of this week's Journal of the San Juan Islands.
