The San Juan County Sheriff’s Department reported responding to the following calls.

June 11: A warrant from the state Corrections Department prompted the arrest of a San Juan Island man outside the Friday Harbor restaurant where he’s employed.

The 23-year-old was taken into custody at about 10:30 a.m. and was slated for transfer to the state penitentiary in Monroe.
