Dust off the paddles, it's tourney time

Call it Ping Pong. Call it Table Tennis. But whatever you chose to call it, get ready, because it's tourney time.

The 2nd Annual Table Tennis Tournament, sponsored by Island Rec, gets under way March 17, beginning at 11 a.m. Prizes await the top table finishers.

Participants must be 16 years of age or older, and competitors can register either online, at www.islandrec.org, or at the Island Rec office, 580 Guard Street, Monday-Friday, 1-5 p.m. Early registration fee, until March 7, is $15, and $20 thereafter.
