Sen. Kevin Ranker, D-Orcas Island, and Reps. Jeff Morris, D-Mount Vernon, and Kris Lytton, D-Anacortes, are reaching out to 40th District constituents with a series of three town hall-style forums held throughout the district later in the month and through June.

They will discuss the work of the 2012 Legislature and Washington’s ongoing budget challenges and the effects on K-12 education, public services and other programs critical to local communities. Legislators will also be seeking constituents’ thoughts and priorities for the next legislative session.

The meetings start May 31, at the Mullis Senior Center in Friday Harbor from 6 - 8 p.m., then in Bellingham at Fairhaven Library, 6-8 p.m. on June 11 and  Anacortes at the Anacortes Senior Center from 6-8 p.m. on June 18.
