2011 Summer Ferry Schedule has been finalized

The 2011 summer ferry schedule has been finalized. There are three changes from the summer ferry schedule draft.

The 1:35 p.m. Anacortes to Friday Harbor sailing is now 2 p.m. for commercial schedules and resident needs. A direct sailing to Lopez in the afternoon is added, making the dedicated sailing to Friday Harbor possible.

The westbound Sidney ferry stops in Friday Harbor at 9:40 a.m., not in the afternoon. The 5:55 p.m. sailing from Sidney to Friday Harbor provides a possible day trip to Sidney.

The 5:45 a.m. sailing from Friday Harbor to Anacortes now stops at 6:25 a.m. on Lopez.

On Monday, May 16, 5:15 to 6:30 p.m., San Juan County Ferry Advisory Committee holds a public meeting at the san Juan Island library.
