On Sept. 13, the League of Women Voters of San Juan County will host a program devoted to a discussion of the Citizens United vs. FEC, a Supreme Court decision which was rendered in January.

"This is the decision in which the ban on corporate donations during the last days before an election was overturned," the League reports. "There has been much public outcry over this decision. You may be surprised at some of the players."

The meeting will be held in the San Juan Island Library conference room, noon to 2 p.m., and is open to the public.
