The local Democratic organization has not given any money to any candidate. Moreover, the local Democratic organization has not spent any money in any local campaign for this council race; either for mailings or advertisements. We do not have any plans to do so before this election.

The reasons for the delay, as stated in the ordinance approved April 9 by the council, include: some of the tools to assist property owners are not complete; staff time for implementation is limited; and, the breadth and magnitude of appeals challenging the CAO creates uncertainty about the future of the regulations.
