Jerry Bauer and Matthew Holshauer, both of Montana, and Marysville's Diane Bell have been selected as the finalists for the Friday Harbor Elementary School principal position. All three will be in Friday Harbor, beginning March 25, for a series of meetings with local school officials, faculty, parents and the community.

It’s difficult to imagine a better win-win than the Dollars for Scholars program. Students can earn up to $1,000 in scholarship money by completing 80 hours of community service by the time they graduate, and can get started as early as 8th grade.
