Friday Harbor architect David Waldron was honored July 4 by American Legion Post 163 for his long, dedicated service on behalf of Boy Scout Troop 90. Waldron received an award from the Legion, presented following this year’s annual Independence Day parade, by Legion Scout liaison George Iliff.

The entire scout troop was also in attendance, and Troop 90 was treated to pizza and soft drinks, courtesy of the local legion.

Friday Harbor’s Boy Scout and Cub Scout troops are sponsored by the legion, and the local Brownies and Girl Scout troops are sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary.
