Behnke offers inside scoop on ‘Artist Trust’ programs

Looking to give your artistic career a bounce? Then mark Oct. 11 on your calendar for a free presentation by award-winning Lopez Island artist Jean Behnke, who will reveal how to give your career a boost through programs and resources offered by the Artist Trust of Washington State.

Sponsored by The San Juan County Arts Council, Behnke’s presentation is 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Earthbox Inn & Spa in Friday Harbor. The presentation is followed by a reception, starting at 4:30 p.m.

A not-for-profit entity, Artist Trust’s offers programs and resources – career counseling, professional development, training and grants – designed to support artist in all disciplines. The Trust has invested $9 million in Washington artists since its inception 25 years ago.
