"The Birds of America Camp" is one of the of this summer’s special programs at San Juan National Historical Park. Lead by Barbara Jensen, a Masterbirder and current president of San Juan Islands Audubon, this insightful 90-minute walk starts early when the birds are active.

Learn about behavior, songs, and identification of some of the area’s breeding birds. Barbara is a former National Park ranger, has taught many bird and natural history classes and lead scores of trips in her native Washington and the Northwest. Be prepared for a gracious good time.

Meet at the American Camp Visitor Center at 7:30 a.m., Sunday, June 3. Binoculars recommended and dress for the weather. Call 378-2240 for information.
