Wedding bells: James DeMuth and Leah Reid

Wedding bells are on the horizon for James Alexander DeMuth, son of Dennis Alden and Jodie Lynn DeMuth, of Friday Harbor and Bellevue, and Leah Christinne Reid of New Hampshire.
The couple plan to marry in Pleasanton, Calif., in August.
DeMuth, a 2004 graduate of Seattle's The Northwest School, attended Santa Clara University as an undergraduate, where he earned a bachelor's of science in mechanical engineering (2008), and then earned a Masters of Science in mechanical engineering at Stanford University (2010). He is a mechanical engineer at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore, Calif.
The daughter of Ronald and Christinne Reid of Jaffrey, N.H., Leah Reid earned a bachelor's of music degree at Montreal's McGill University (2008), a Master of Arts in music composition at Stanford (2010) and is a fourth-year doctoral candidate at Stanford.
