February 28, 2012 · Updated 5:04 PM
He couldn't quite upend the leader board, but Pat Nash's 10.48-pounder proved hefty enough to claim the week's prize in Week 3 in the 8th Annual Frank Wilson Memorial Blackmouth Fishing Derby.
Nash joins Carter Whalen (Week 1) and Marty Chevalier (Week 2) as winner of the derby's $50 weekly prize for the biggest fish caught over a seven-day stretch.
Named for former San Juan EMS chief Frank Wilson, the annual fishing derby is a fundraiser for San Juan EMs
With three weeks down and seven left to go, Chevalier remains atop the leader board with the 19.92-pounder hooked in the derby's second week. Jerry Greene remains in second place and Pete Nelson is third.
