Emergency alert system test today at 2 p.m.

On Nov. 9, 2 p.m., the Federal Communications Commission and the Federal Emergency Management Agency will perform the first ever Emergency Alert System. The test will last 30 seconds and asses the reliability and effectiveness of the EAS as a national emergency system. For more info, visit fcc.gov/nationwideeastest.com.
