Kids who like bikes top this Santa’s list
November 8, 2011 · Updated 9:04 AM
Northwest Safety First, Travel Light Cycles, Consignment Treasures, San Juan Island Grange and of course “Santa” have joined forces to provide bicycles for San Juan Island kids to find under their trees this coming holiday.
Previously owned bicycles are currently being collected and receiving “TLC.”
Now Santa is looking for new homes for the bikes with kids to ride them. If you or someone you know would give a safe and responsible home to one of these bicycles and one tricycle, here’s what you do... Write a letter explaining why you or someone you know should be one of the proud owners of one of these bicycles.
Here’s your opportunity to be Santa’s helper. Do you know someone who could really use a bicycle?
Be sure to include your or their age. Bicycles will be delivered at the Grange on Sunday, Dec. 18 event. Send your letters by Dec. 10 to Santa’s Cycles, P. O. Box 457, Friday Harbor, WA 98250 or email santa@rockisland.com.
