San Juan County Fair officials need a dozen or more folks to accept and display the hundreds of wonderful photographs being entered in this year’s competition, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 15. Six to eight people are also needed to judge the photographs from 7 to 9 p.m. The only drawback to being a judge is that you probably shouldn’t enter any pictures in the competition this year.

Volunteers can also man the booth for a few hours a day between Wednesday through Saturday. They can answer questions and accept “The People’s Choice” ballot entries. A few to close the display on Sunday would also be helpful.
