Join the community Saturday, Sept. 8, 9 a.m.-noon for a Day of Caring for our island friends and neighbors. The goal is to gather volunteer support to lend a hand to small projects that make a big difference to those in our community who need just a little extra help. The project list has been compiled by the local organizations that United Way supports throughout the year such as the family and community resource and senior centers.
