Summit Hoedown brings community into 2019 Agricultural Summit

Staff report

Community members gathered at Brickworks on Saturday, Feb. 2 from 6-9 p.m. for the Summit Hoedown – part of the 2019 San Juan Islands Agricultural Summit. The two-day Summit featured workshops and climate change discussion for island farmers but the whole community was invited to dance, drink, and dine at the Summit Hoedown. Local band River Rye provided the music and San Juan Bistro (formerly San Juan Island Cheese) catered a barbecue feast.
