Every year, the local Barbershop Harmony Society chorus caravans to homes and businesses to spread a little love with songs and roses. For a modest donation, the Island Chordsmen Plus delivers love songs and a rose to anyone lucky enough to be signed up for this unique gift.

They will sing in your living room, or your workplace, at the restaurant of your choice, or for a shut-in or convalescing friend or family member. If you can’t think of someone to send a Valentine to, the Chordsmen have a list of recipients that you can sponsor, anonymously or not, as you choose.

To spread a little love, sign up at the table at Market Place from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Feb. 11 or call Holly at 370-5544 or 298-4682. Suggested donations are $40.
