Be prepared to “Laugh Your Tails Off” at this year’s Wags to Riches, an annual fundraiser for the Friday Harbor Animal Shelter.

Elayne Boosler, a comedian and animal advocate, will entertain this year’s guests at one of the island’s premier fundraising events.

Wags to Riches will once again be held on the estate of Bob and Lissa McDowell on Saturday, July 30bon Hannah Road.

There will be music, food and spirits, canine entertainment, silent and live auctions, and a comedy show by Boosler at the end of the evening.

The event runs from 3 – 8 p.m.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Friday Harbor Animal Shelter.

Tickets are available at the shelter or at Island Tails Gift Shop at Cannery Landing.

The price is $85 per person and seating is limited.
