The next Know Your Island walk is from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 22 on the horse trails on Mitchell Hill. Follow San Juan Islander Theresa Simendinger and her horse Zanzibar on a walk along her favorite trail. The trail is about 3 miles long and the terrain is easy. Meet at the horse trail road entrance, off West Valley Road. Leave dogs at home.
