Clean up the summer’s accumulated refuse before winter closes in at the second annual Fall Great Islands Clean-Up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 30.

Volunteer for this all-islands greening event to pick up litter from public beaches and roadways.

During last year’s event, approximately 450 islanders collected almost 5000 pounds of litter. Islanders are encouraged to pick up trash so residents and visitors alike are treated to a litter-free island.

Connect with business, school, non-profit, service or neighborhood groups, family and friends and volunteer to help. Join a group that has already been formed or organize one of your own.
