Get on your dancing shoes!
Island Rec will be offering new dance classes this fall for ages 18 and up. All skill levels are welcomed. Beginner Swing Dance is a great beginner class that focuses on music, moves and style of one of the most popular types of dance in the country. Both couples and singles are invited to join the fun of learning tricks and spins with instructor Rachelle Radonski. Class meets Wednesdays at 6:30-7:30 p.m. from Oct. 2-Nov. 20.
Intermediate Ballroom Dance is a class to bring your dancing skills to the next level.
This class will focus on more advanced patterns that are taught with an emphasis on correct body positioning and style. Class meets Thursdays at 6:30-7:30 p.m. from Oct. 3-Nov. 21.
Both classes have an early-bird fee of $78 expires Sept. 19, then will be $85 thereafter.
Instructor Radonski has been teaching dance for 24 years and has trained with the Arthur Murray Dance Studio as a professional ballroom dance instructor and competitor. Both classes located at Wayfinder Wellness in the Surina Business park 50 Malcom St. No. 711.
