Holiday Shoppe to benefit Angel Fund

The Peace Island Volunteers are having a Unique Christmas Shoppe at the Mullis Center on Dec. 11 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. This is a fundraiser for the Angel Fund which helps all of our community members in emergency situations. There are unbelievable baskets and boxes for everyone on your gift list … even the cat and dog! Many food items will also be for sale. Our gifts range from $5 to $150. Many decorated Christmas trees are also for sale and all ready for holiday shoppers.

There will be free Roche Harbor donuts and hot cider. Santa will be making a visit as well as Xmas Carolers. For more information, call Anne at 360-378-4224 or 360-298-1789.

The Angel Fund is made possible with monies raised by Peace Island Hospital volunteers through two events a year. The Unique Christmas Shoppe raises money to help patients pay for medical emergencies and necessities not covered by insurance. In the Spring, the volunteers create and sell Easter baskets to raise money for the hospital’s Cancer Care Center.

“It’s a wonderful program and all of us love doing what we do,” offered Anne Benedict, one of the Angel Fund volunteers. “It helps so many people.”
